Brede School Rembrandt
Your talent, our mastery

Welcome to Brede School Rembrandt,

a Protestant Christian primary school where the child is central. Our school, named after the legendary artist Rembrandt van Rijn, provides education to approximately 450 children divided into 17 groups (with around 28 students per group). Located in the heart of Amstelveen, we create an environment where every child can develop him- or herself, be inspired, create, reflect, and participate.

Our core values form the foundation of our education. We encourage self-development by giving students the space to discover and develop their talents. We inspire them by introducing them to various forms of art and culture. By creating innovative and creative solutions, students learn to appreciate their unique skills and those of others. Reflecting plays a central role; we encourage children to look critically at themselves and their learning process. Participating means that every student counts, and we offer an inclusive and safe environment where everyone is welcome.

At Brede School Rembrandt, we believe that every child is a masterpiece. We see it as our mission to help children discover and develop their own ‘palette’ of skills and talents so that they can confidently find their unique place in this world. Together, in connection with each other, we make our school a place where learning, growth, and joy go hand in hand.
